General Bots is primarily distributed under the MIT Open Source License. Managed services and enterprise deployments are governed by specific Service Level Agreements (SLAs).
2. User Responsibilities
Users of the platform are responsible for:
- Ensuring that AI bot personalities and responses comply with local laws and ethical standards.
- Maintaining the security of their own infrastructure for self-hosted instances.
- Managing their own API keys and third-party integration credentials.
3. Managed Services
Managed hosting provided by General Bots or its certified partners is subject to a 99.9% uptime guarantee, as detailed in the technical specifications for each hosting tier.
4. Data Ownership
General Bots maintains a "Customer First" data policy. You retain 100% ownership of your document indexes, conversation logs, and bot configurations. We do not use your data to train our global models.
